On December 12th, 2002

YES, on Thursday, December 12th, Our own Larry Louis Moon will be playing in the round with Dennis Walker and Ken Gaines at the famed Anderson Fair!  Houston's renowned songsmith Ken Gaines will be performing his timeless tunes along side Larry, with Dennis doing backup and singing a few as well.  So go ahead and mark your calendars now, as this show will be one that no one in their right mind would want to miss.  The Anderson Fair is located at 2007 Grant Street, one block east of Montrose at the corner of Welch and Grant, right behind Texas Art Supply.  Seating is limited, so show up around 8:30pm for a good spot. On October 6th, 2002

Sunday, October 6th, Larry will be performing along with his trusted sidekick Dennis Walker at the landmark 26th Annual Houston Heights Festival. Details for the event are still being worked out, but will be posted here as soon as they are available. 2002 marks the 26th year of the annual Heights Festival.  Activities begin at 12 noon and continue until 6 pm on Heights Boulevard between 14th and 20th Streets.  Admission is free.

On May 31st, 2002

Friday, May 31st, Our own Larry Louis Moon will be opening for Carrie Ann Buchannon, followed by Dino Marcaccio and his band, Peace Train, at The Next Door Coffeehouse, located at the corner of Edloe @ Kipling.    ON STAGE @ 7:00pm, seating is limited, so try to show up around 6:30pm. On May 11th, 2002

Saturday, May 11th, Dino Marcaccio will be hosting an Acoustic Music Party at 9400 Doliver Dr. - Townhome #13 (near the intersection of Gessner and Briarforest).  Local Pacifica Radio Station KPFT 90.1 Network activists, Green Party Members, local environmental and labor activists are all invited to a musical ensemble of great local talent.  Starting at 6pm and running on till midnight.  For directions or information, contact Larry at the email address listed.

On April 27th, 2002

Saturday, April 270th, Houston's original Walter's Ice House will be hopping with the talent of our own Larry Moon on stage and in the raw, accompanying local singer/songwriter and newcomer Brett Walton. The show starts at 10:00 pm, with no door cover and plenty of ice cold beer.  Walter's Ice House is located on 4215 Washington, between Shepard and Waugh.  For directions or more information, contact Larry at the email address listed.

On March 30th, 2002

Saturday, March 30th, Houston Local Pacifica Radio Station KPFT 90.1 will be throwing its KPFT Backyard Benefit to raise contributions to the station.  KPFT is located at 419 Lovett Blvd. (just off of Whitney).  The show starts at 12 noon, with a $5 door cover... a small donation to a very worthy cause, the promotion of local music in Houston.  For directions or information, contact Larry at the email address listed.

On March 28th, 2002

Thursday, March 28th, Larry will join Dino Marcaccio and his band Peace Train once again to ring in the opening of a new local open mic night at Borders Books on the corner of Kirby and Alabama.  SHOW BEGINS @ 8:00pm.

On March 23rd, 2002

Saturday, March 23rd, Larry will be opening for Dino Marcaccio and his band, Peace Train, for a show at the Borders Books located at the corner of Gessner @ Westheimer.  ON STAGE @ 7:00pm, seating is limited, so try to show up around 6:30pm.

On March 1st, 2002

Friday, March 1st, you can find Larry Moon performing Live at the Vintage Bar, opening for Houston's own Dino Marcaccio and his band, Peace Train.  The Vintage Bar is located at 4356 Mid Ln. @ Westheimer, (713) 355-3093. Show starts at 9:00p.m.

On February 24th, 2002

Sunday, February 24th, Larry will be performing at the Houston Garden In The Heights for their "Festival For Peace" show, Hosted By The Houston Coalition For Peace Not War. Garden in the Heights is located at 3926 Faegan St. The show begins at 12:00p.m and lasts until 9p.m. Larry goes on stage at 5:00p.m., so make sure and mark your calendars.
